First off, I wanted to say thanks to all for the help and guidance on setting my tank. I currently have a 60 gal cube tank with a 55 gal sump tank, half of which is my refugium. After starting and restarting several times over the past two months today I finally got fish in my tank along with a few crabs and a few snails.

I was able to get my sump tank up and running about a month ago, with established rock and sand, so it was pretty stable pretty quick. Then on Saturday I was able to hook up my DT to my sump tank. The DT had been cycling for a week or so prior with already cured dry rock and live sand.

Today I tested my water and everything was GREAT. no ammonia, no nitrites, no nitrates, no phosphates, Ca was at 420, pH was at 8.0 (a little low) and Kh was at 10. So all within desirable readings. Couldn't think of a better reason to hit my LFS to get something alive in my tank. It's been sitting with rocks and sand for some time.

I had been cycling my tanks sans lights, so today for the first time I had a need to turn on my lights. Holy CRAP, the tank walls were covered with copepods. After drip acclimating my cromis for about an hour, I added them to the tank. They started going NUTZ eating up the stuff on the walls of the tank.

I dont know where these came from, must have been the live sand or the live rock from my sump. Regardless, its amazing to see. I've started out lightly with only three crabs and three snails. Later in the week I'll order my culerpa and a larger cleaner crew for both the fuge and the DT.

Again, thanks to all, With your help I was able to address the plumbing issues I was having, and am making the right choices with other options.

Cromis have been in there for an hour and they seem to be loving it. I'm so stoked.
