Very nice setup! I really like the scape and plan to do something similar as I work on upgrading my 10g to a 20 long/10g sump.

I would love to have a madarin as well, but plan to wait a while before attempting one. Not a bad b-day gift though.

Thanks! You are going to love the upgrade from the 10 gallon, double the room, double the fun. For the smaller tanks, the 20 gallon has such a great footprint IMO.

I will keep you posted on how the mandarin is doing :)

Zomg, froggy-face is just stunning! Good job capturing him. When I was re-positioning a frag disk the other day, I found a good sized pod! I hope he multiplies and someday I can have my froggy!

Thanks, you know what they say, for every pod you see there are 10 in hiding!

Froggy is doing great, he seems to be picking at the rocks fairly consistently. I think he even munched on a frozen mysis today. I have been leaving a little pile on the same rock every night and tonight he snuck over and it looked like he nibbled on one.

Sounds good! I will let you know when I am overrun.

I started my vodka dosing yesterday after my waterchange. I wanted to dose 0.1 ml but I didn't have a syringe that was precise enough. So I mixed 1 ml of vodka with 9 ml of tank water. I am going to dose 1 ml of the mix for 5 days and then double it.

I don't have bad algae but there are a couple patches that won't go away, interestingly they are both in front of the powerheads...any reason for this? I am curious to see if the vodka will eliminate these spots and color up the corals.

Here a couple pics of my tank after the water change, I moved a couple rocks from the right side into the fuge during the waterchange. It seemed a little too cluttered over there, I like the result.

Looking really good. I can't wait to see all those frags grow out. Should be really exciting watching this progress over the next year! :)

Wow, awesome shots (what camera do you use? You mentioned wanting a DSLR?)! The froggy face has added so much character to the tank. It's amazing what one single fish can do to a tank.

After I read the whole carbon dosing thread while ago, Ive decided to go BioPellets route. Its been a little over 3 months now, I think I can call it success: beat cyano, less film on the glass, coralline explosion, able to feed more, etc. Oh I started to dose MicroBactor7 at the same time too. I dont run GFO. No macroalgae.
