    I am looking to get some FW fish for my planted tank and TFP seems to have the lowest prices as well as the lowest minimum spending for free shipping. Has anyone ordered online from this place?

    Never ordered online but I only live an hour from there so I go down all the time for my saltwater tank and my brother goes down for their freshwater plants/fish frequently. Neither of us has ever had a problem with anything we have gotten there and their entire staff is very knowledgeable. IMO That Pet Place is a solid business and I don't think you will have any problems placing an order with them.

    I've bought a few items (not fish or plants) from them over the last 2 years. They are based out of PA I believe and the shipping times were usually better for me than MarineDepot, but I did order a bag of sand (not live sand) from them once and it took almost 2 weeks which was a bit absurd. Other than that, I couldn't comment on if their plants are of good quality.

    I order stuff from them all the time. Never had a problem. They are a big operation.

    I just went on there to check it out. I like the prices, but damn near everything I clicked on was out of stock and tons of corals didn't have any pic's! I like the prices and location to me, but that was annoying! Back to LA, happy coral, and salt critters for me.

    I live about an hour and a half a way and go on a regular basis. Had a 150 gal fresh water set up that i got almost everything for there. Never had a bad experience. The staff is good and the livestock has always been healthy. Im not sure how competitive the livestock prices are, as i had a tendency to be an imp use buyer with fresh water fish. The place is huge... probably 1 1/2 the size of your average walmart. You may do a little better on price for equipment, but I have not found anyplace that has a lock on the cheapest price on everything.
