Surprisingly it didn't take too long to clean. I still hafta hook up the calcium reactor. And I'd like to calibrate the ph controller. I've never used a calcium reactor before so it's all new to me

You should totally make it an SPS dominated tank 8) I think it would look awesome.

That's my plan. I'm reading up on sps corals and trying to decide what to try first. But for now I'm focusing on getting this thing as stable as possible and learning all the new equipment.

Great job. Remember when this was just a hopeful buy. Now it's in our house and looking awesome! Congrats on the setup, scape and a clean looking tank. Like previously said. Can't believe it's the same tank.

Does the tank run parallel or perpendicular to the joists. I have a house from the 50s and its a near ideal structural situation but it still scares me with a 125g.

Agree about the scape. Very nice.

Perpendicular. The joists were in good shape. But I decided to brace them up just as an extra precaution. Didn't cost much at all so what the heck right? Lol

I'm trying to decide where to mount the temp controller and ph controller so that they look clean and neat, but still viewable. Any ideas?
