Well tonight I was bored so I went to the garage for a little to do some DIYing lol

So I upgraded my Radion hanging cables to something more adjustable with some cool clips from Home Depot, 5-lb strength. Radion being 3.2lbs. I think I'm safe.
I also put a 2inch cable extender in so I can adjsut it from 10" to 12" above water if need be. (26"-28" from bottom of tank.) Or I can go higher with using just one set of clips when I'm doing maintenance.

I also made a Kill switch for the tank w/ a Apex Breakout box into one controller.

how do you unscrew the screws from the light if both are attached via that crimped wire?

    haha soon my friend.

cut cables and unscrew/takes 2mins to reinstall and its pretty easy but I have no reason to unscrew once in place. May not be the $45 radion kit but cost 1/4 the price. :p DIY +1

the reason i ask is because i hung mine the exact same way, and it becomes a PITA to cut and re-crimp every time. ive had to do it 3 times, i kept getting radions that would sh*t the bed about ever 4 months.

i just wanted to know if you had a different way of gettin them off than i do. guess we are in the same bucket, and its way cheaper, thats why i did it !

I'm sure before I have it up and running I will think or see something to change it up.

Man, I've missed a lot! I love the scape and the light hanger is a really good idea. I'll continue to follow along :)

    Thanks.

I believe he means the radion he/she had became non-working and had to ship them away.
