I picked up a candy cane colony and a small zoa colony today from Elitereef in Denver. Will post up some pics once they are all settled and open up.

Rearranged the right side scape a bit since it was too tall and didn't offer a lot of coral placement spots:[IMG]

Here is the new zoa colony: [IMG]

Here is the new candy cane: [IMG]

    Original zoa colony: [IMG]

Hammer is starting to branch out and show some growth: [IMG]

I will try and get some shots soon with all the lights on and not just the actinics and blue LEDs.

i got my 90 set up, once i clean the tank there will be photos i promise, bu for future planning...

the skimmer is an avast cs1 cone skimmer kit, and i have about 80-90 LBS of LR, and no sand (dead or alive). with this set up, what do you recommend as far as how many/what types of fish to put in it? I'd like a blue hippo and a yellow tang, 3-4 domino's, and 3-4 blue green chromis, and a purple fire fish. currently i have a pair of clowns, what lookslike a 6 line, and a dotty back, and a 3.5 trillion snails. plus a cleaner shrimp. please help me out here , thank you!

Also whats a good way to get rid of the pink/purple alge on acrylic tanks?

Hey, welcome to the 90 thread!
Ive skimmed through your other posts/threads really quick. So you bought the whole established system from a friend. I hope the move went smoothly without any casualties.
I think all the fish you listed above can be kept in a well-established 90g, but the current residents suffered enough during the move, so leave them alone for at least a month. Keep a really close eye on the parameters: ie ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, in case of a mini cycle. And you should go from there :)

And just so you know, people like to have some purple stuff on their tanks (it's called coralline algae, sign of a well established system). But I guess it's personal preference, you could use a razor for acrylic tank to scrape it off..

Post some pics including the main tank and the sump. We love pics 8)

i was told to never ever ever use a metal razor on acrylic..? and on account of my nubliness, ill stick to that bit of advise. i google'd it and they have plastic blades for cleaning off the glass, are these any good ?

I deffinatly wont be adding anything to the tank for a while, not only cus of the stressed fish, but because the ol lady isnt very please with the cost of everything so far, hehe :)
