i lost a wrassel, i thought he might have been doing their "oh no im scared, lets play dead" thing, but after 24 hours he was still playin dead in the same spot... :( sad.

but my 2 clowns, the starry blenny, the cleaner shrimp and the Harlequin shrimp survived. i came home today from runnin out to my LFS (which is an hour away) and my tank was at 86 degrees!!! cus i was a super nub and had my MH lights 3" above my tank. so i move them to 12", and turned them off, and put ice in a baggie and stuck it in the sump. it only lasts like 15 minutes and i swap it out with more ice. temp is SLOWLY coming down, at 84 right now.

i did get all teh fish to eat, and they are swiming around and all look very healthy.

at the LFS i picked up a master test kit and all my prameters are good, 8.4 pH and 0 everything else.

gonna wait a bit before i add anything tho

Clams need and consume a lot of calcium in the water. So you gotta keep an eye on the parameter. Some people call big three: calcium, alkalinity and magnesium. Its all about balance, and there are a lot of reading about water chemistry on here, as well as other forum and whatnot.

Quick update on my tank: I ended up losing my two clowns I got. After posting pics of them here on 3reef, I was informed it looked like hole in the head. Other then those two I haven't had any casualties. My fish are eating great and everything is spot on for parameters. My tang (who has been in the tang the longest) has become very very aggressive to new comers though.

That is why it is highly suggested to add tangs last to your system.
