    well ladies and gent the big move to Puerto Rico is done and im finally getting settled in. FOr those of u who dont know i joined the site a few months back... off to a good start but been in the process of a move. Im from terre haute indiana but im living in juana diaz PR for the next year working at a christian youth camp. sure enough i quicklyfound time to go and pick up a 10g at walmart:):)... seeing how this is how i entered the SW world 5 or so yrs ago i have been quite excited!not gonna lie though, im missin my 90 back home and by bro better be taken good care of it!

    Seeing as how im addicted to reef keeping, gettin this set up was quite high on my prioritys. none of my pics will be to great till after christmas when i get a cam so for naw im using my phone:/ sux! im used to a DSLR :/ but no worries wont be too long
    supplies...
    10g tank 15$ @ walmart
    filter...brought w/ me
    powerhead...brought with me
    96w coralife aqualight brought with me


    got sand right off the beach in my backyard for the substrate and swam about a quarter mile out to get bout 20lb of live rock off a shallow reef. obviously tons of life on the rock... hundreds of green and light blue zoos,cocoworms,small sps colony (maybe pocilipora?) random others

    on my second trip out i got a small spiny urchin and several snail

    will be swiming out tomo before the waves pick up for a nice suply of hermits and snails

    tank has been set up for 2 weeks now and im quite happy... prolly will find new LR i like better everytime im out there though. nd im doing 50% water changes once a week right from my back yard

    just a few days ago i found a 3in bright green mantis shrimp that like to do a number on my clean up crew but who knows i might keep him seeing as how my supply of hermit. is endless, and even better free
