My toadstool got too big for my tank and I had to remove it. :( Everyone told me to just cut it off, but I was new and didn't dare. So I kinda pushed it off with my finger. It took like an hour. Finally I lifted it off, but two ity bity pieces were left on one tonga branch.

They started to grow, but just looked like a blob. I had them in my 6 gal for a while, the polyps came out, but they looked brown. I am restocking my 12 gal so I moved them in there and their little polyps are out and I think they are looking green.

    Original toadstool: Waaaaay too big

I think so too, as long as they turn green:) I'm not a fan of the brownish/tan coral. If I'm gona buy something, I want it bright and pretty. I am thinking of getting a yellow toadstool. They are pretty.

Thanks. I was so nervous they weren't going to be green, they looked so brown.

Thanks, I really hated getting rid of the parent, it was so pretty and one of my first corals. When it first got too big, I told my husband I needed a bigger tank. ;D It didn't work.
