So my lfs is just awesome. i had called them to see if they had 5 chromis, they surprisingly did. so i went there and they had the closed sign up beacause they are moving, and the let me in and let me get the fish :D almost everything was out of the store except for a few fish and empty tanks, and they said they were going to move to the new location tonight. So im so happy they let me get the chromis. I got 5 for a total of $22

If time is the issue, after you wait 10 mind for temp. Add water, and wait 5 mins. Then take out water and add water again. Wait 5 mins and then let them in. IMO.

Did you check the ground? Sometimes they can jump ( I think mine jumped when I was reaquascaping. ) if all your fish were swimming in the bag I doubt yours is dead.
So good luck ( hope you find 5 of them when you get back)
