    They're a bit harder to find - not a rare fish at all, just - not always available it seems. I have not once seen any here in TN. I saw them regularly in FL but not nearly as often as other fish, and only at certain stores. It's also hit and miss finding them on LiveAquaria.

    Yup, we used to sell them for $15 when I was working at a LFS, that was a few years ago though...

    They have streamers on their tails too :) They don't have the "dumb fish" mentality either. I don't know how to describe it. You know how some fish come to greet you, and seem to think about their actions and actually ... have personality? Then some just swim and have a blank gaze like they rode the short bus to the reef? Well, these have some personality. Standard chromis seem to have lost a bit upstairs when they were a wee little fish.

    hahaha. Awwww poor standard chromis. If they knew you spoke of them this way....!

    Okay, Zachb, I am adding a small school of chromis to my wish list and I'm going to research different chromis right now!

    about time!

    yea my other lfs had some of those on their website super cool, but they were restricted because i guess their harder to acclimate
