    i tried to keep 6 but can only keep 3 the others attack them so i have 3 living for the mean time that my unicorn big nose tang likes to school with lol

    Certainly having two different species in one tank could cause a problem. Considering how similar they look to each other doesn't help the average tank owner either.

    Who knows, maybe one day when I'm rich I'll have a 200g tank filled with 50 chromis. lolz.

    In the wild they stay in schools for protection against predators. They still pick each other off, there's just so many more it's not as noticeable. In our tanks, they don't have to school to protect themselves, nor forage together to get food, and they don't have squat in our tanks for room compared to the ocean.
