You often hear people say how their corals colored-up nice or the like, but rarely do you see before/after shots. I thought I'd ofter this as an example. These pictures are about 2 months apart. Lighting is 250W MH at a depth of 24".

Honestly, I didn't even know how great the improvement was until I compared these two photos.

Nope, i don't even target feed. Just keep excellent water parameters.

I'll add a couple pictures, but from the opposite perspective. I take pictures so that I can be sure that everything is going good. For example, the first picture is from 7/13 the day I got it. The Favia was in the same spot since that day, but it was getting lighter very slowly. Went back and checked the photos and was shocked. Moved it 8" away from the lights, and it's nearly good as new.

Sometimes I take daily pictures when a coral isn't doing good. It's easier to see a side by side comparison of photos rather than trying to go by memory.

Nice color up job! I am thinking that with the wellso being in the corner of the tank, it is getting plenty of food that settles down.

^ It's quite possible. I say I don't target feed, but my mix I feed my collection of hungry fish twice daily has frozen cyclopeeze and prawn roe in it, so all my corals do get some food.

Following up on this to show how long it took for the color to come back in this coral. Back to where it was, now. ;D

    How is the Wellso doing?

So I guess "soon" means a couple months. ;D

Two new pictures added, after the prior two:

I'm quite amazed at the side-by-side myself; didn't think it had improved much over the past couple months.
