This is great! Heres an idea. Everyone should post up the results of whichever tests they pull on the stuff so we can get a large database.

 

This is a good question. The web site shows old white buckets, but I thought they changed to the black buckets a while ago. I am not 100% sure though. I'd love if someone could say for sure. I will ask a rep. The only reason I know I got a new re-formulated one is that Red Sea sent me one directly a couple weeks ago. I will take a closer look at the bucket to see if something stands out.

Excuse me! I would like you to know that I currently have 25 gallons of fresh saltwater mixing for a WC! Yeah, that's right! What have you done lately?!? *smack*


I got it from petstore.com. It shows the new bucket so I thought it's probably new. But even if it isn't, it will be a good start to switch over to the new stuff, since I'm coming from a different brand!

 

This is awesome. I was going to go with IO RC, but I wasn't sure about the high calcium levels compared to the mag. I think this is just the fix. Sorry, Instant Ocean. lol.

I wonder if FS Aquatics has the new stuff yet on their site? Yeah FSA only shows the old stuff.

 

Might have to have my LFS get me some, though I'm sure it may cost more. Can't take a chance ordering a big bucket and it ends up being the old stuff...unless...kcbrad confirms his order is in fact the new stuff. We'll be waiting.
