You have to ignore the tank. I'm acclimating him to his environment. The lid will go back on when it's over. :) This is a grow out tank, not a display.

I'm going to try and get some pictures tonight. He's starting to shake his nervousness. I'm basically hiding across the room with my iPhone, under a pile of clothes hiding. Geesh.

I just had to share the cuteness. He's a piggy, so he'll grow fast. I can't wait to see his Aussie colors come in!

    Here's the Divers Den picture.

CONGRATS, I saw that little bugger on DD I would have snatched him up if I wasn't lucky enough to have acquired a nice Aussie juvie myself. I had been looking for one a long while.

They are one of my fav SW fish, if not my most fav. I love mine, it is bigger than yours, maybe about 3.5" but has been doing great for the past few months. Eats like a pig of course and his blue is starting to come in nicely.

I had him up on the screen for the longest time trying to decide. We always wanted one as they are one of my favs as well. I look forward to watching him grow. It's always special to obtain fish as juvies.

Def, and Aussie Tusks are very hard to find under the 4' mark, at least in all my searches. Look forward to pics/vids!

This is what I've heard. It was probably the deciding factor. I'm such a sucker for "hard to find" or "challenging to keep".

Anyone know how touchy they are at this size?
