The dreaded midterms... ugh...

    Well one of the most stressful times of freshman year is here: midterms. Sinc ei go to a pretty challenging school and my teacher doesnt know how many points to grade a quiz for, I'm getting a little nervous. i get about 2 hours for each one and I have 6 midterms to take: Algebra, English Honors, Global, Religion, Biology Honors, and Greek Honors. I'm especially nervous about Greek since translating sentences is a little bit difficult, but my main worry is Biology, since IMO my teachers' tests are ridiculous. It's especially diagrams that throw me off, and my Bio teacher f***ed up a test for me YET AGAIN! the last test she put a diagram we never freaken saw, and she did that for my quiz too, so i obviously lost a lot of points because we never saw the damn thing! and that really pisses me off... anyway, religion is supposed to be pretty long since my teacher has a lot of essay questions. English I write 4 paragraphs with a prompt (start off with a quote, phrase, etc.) For global it should be easy since most of the questions our teacher puts on the test and there practically the same ones we do in class. Algebra is pretty easy too; just need to review how to do a few word problems and just go over stuff im not too sure about. Anyway hopefully I can get A's on all of them; i wanna get straight A's on my report card, and if i dont do well i'll really be screwed (for example, i have an A in algebra. If i screw up this midterm with like a C, I could get a C on my report card!) But while I'm studying I'm gonna be working on a 10 gallon fish only nano tank, so with that keeping my occupied a bit it shouldnt be so bad :)

    Ugh. I know what you mean about midterms. I can't believe I have to make up a test by next Friday for my students to take. ;D

    Good you don't have my parents. You get a C means you are really stupid. A and B is the thing my parents would accept.

    lol. I wish I had the grades to do that at my school...take advanced placement classes or even college level.

    My parents aren't that harsh when it comes to grades, but believe me. Your mom is doing you a favor for the long-run.

    Oh and ah...good luck on midterms, Saltwter Guy. I just got done with mine. We call them "exams" here though. :p

    Second semester classes just started today for me.
