first thing to lower the temps in the green house, I'm gonna try some simple old shade. 8)
I have to admit it feels good on me to. :sunny:

i first was only gonna cover the south facing roof only, but since plan on covering the north roof as well, leaving the vents uncovered and a small peace of the end panel for light, that will give the tank full sun for about half a day. :idea2:
waiting on my first 12 volt low amp pump that I'm going to use as a power head, it is brush-less and has a ceramic shaft and is submersible . :builder2:

    experimenting we go :thinking2

Cool, remember, the Sun is POWERFUL. ORA use netting to block out most of it because it'll bleach corals.

    update july 3

Well a few small updates i covered the north facing roof as well and the shade has brought the tank temps down to the same as the outside temps, still not low enough but much better starting point.

and next was to lay some cooling pipe,i used 50' thin wall 4" and it holds a few less gallons then the tank can, witch will make the hole system hold about 55 gallons.

some under ground and some above ground its all down hill to the tank end so i can pump it out in the off season, i added a vent on the highest point so it wont get air locked.

now if the darn pump will just show up i can start running some temp. tests.:-/
