So I have a couple questions about the green house structure itself. Was it a kit? Where did you buy it? What are the panels made of?....Glass? How much $$$ is something like Just the building to set up. I live in Michigan and have wanted a green house for may garden for quite a while now and really LOVE the looks of this one. Just as mush info about the "house" itself would be appreciated. :)
    Thanks
    Heidi

I bought it from harbor freight i got it on sale plus i had a discount coupon so it was about 600. at the time i bought it.
Some of the research i have done showed they would have to be reinforced to handle snow load, and the panels need to have added attachment as well as the foundation to handle an open windy area.
Neither of which i have trouble with in the location it is in.
it is 10 x 12 and 12 feet tall, panels are UV-coated polycarbonate panels with an air space kind of like corrugated cardboard .
In your location i think snow load might be a real concern. :(

There's a lot of information on the www about this greenhouse and how to install it correctly, and how to beef it up.

This does make me sad. So nice looking and so inexpensive for a greenhouse that is. Too Bad I live in the great polar north .. . really it is not that bad where I live on lake Michigan. We are a zone 6 for our plants here to thats not as bad as other parts of the state. But weight would most likely cause issues from snowfall. oh well... Thanks for the info anyhow.

sorry, but being I'm from up north originally i know there is a difference in snow fall, here we get 6 inches maybe every 10 years and you probably are closer to 12 to 20 at a shot there are many articles on the net on how to over come its shortfalls if you care to investigate it further. just google hfgh for more info.

The idea is just the sun :sunny: it seems to grow the Cheeto ball i have in there just fine. ;D this is just a toy for fun and learning, i really don't have a need for this tank the idea I'm testing is to run the hole system with the sun.
