One of my all time favorite bands. I have seen Floyd twice without Roger Waters and I have seen Waters solo both in the US and in England. All incredible shows.

I'll be honest when I say that I'm not sure what a "full set" consists of. I can assume, but not sure. I have not tried "Time" yet, but have played most of the Division Bell album, Comfortably Numb, Us and Them, The Wall, On the turning away, Learning to fly and Wish you where here to name a few.

I guess I should have said; the full set Nick Mason was using. I love the sound, it is unmistakable. As I am not a drummer perhaps the recreation can be accomplished with a "standard set" (is that correct?).

I mean, my set isnt a regular 5 piece drum set, its a lot more than that but its enough for me. If I would be more into drumming, or should I say, have more time, I would definitely have a bigger and better set. To say that I love PF is an understatement, they where way ahead of their time.

When the guys were still punks, they would hang out in the bars and listen to the dive bands and acts in Atlanta somewhere.
One of the dudes in one of those groups was named "Pink". Don't know if it was his first or last name but he came to be known as "BIG PINK". I know that same guy did not have "Floyd" in his name but I was told it was from one of their school teachers, like the one in the music or in "The Wall" videos which I don't think is correct.

Here you go;
PINK FLOYD - taken from the names of two Georgia bluesmen Pink Anderson and Floyd Council - from the early days when the band saw itself as a blues band.
