so no tangs or anthias, the wrasse i was looking at the Filamented Flasher Wrasse, sixline or Longfin Fairy Wrasse. im trying to mainly stay with things i can pair. just like seeing pairs of things. and i was rly looking at getting a tang

 

ok so get whites from rapid led and the rest from aquastyle. now what about the driver setup how would you personally run it? and fyi im getting the reef angel anything that i can easily set to be controled by that would be awsome

 

Get a bigger tank ;-) Lol that why I got a 125, now i wish I had something in the 200-300g range so i could put in more tangs.

 

well that will ahve to wait for a bigger tank. trying to do stay small to get my feet wet (no pun intended)
the question remaining is how to set the drivers up for the lights. i want them to be controlled by the reefangel i choose that cause i love DIY that's what most of this project will be (yes if i could build the fish i would lol).

 

I hear you! Something to work towards then. I think you should get some deeepwater basslets. I'd kill for some.

 

ive seen some at my LFS mainly the purple yellow ones.

 

problems with the drivers is most only hold 10 leds
so with what you suggested
put all the blues on 1 dim?
the put the 2 nw and 2 cw with with 2 amber 1 violet and 1 green (10 leds on that string)
and put the remaining 2 cws with the 1 red 1 amber 1 cyan and 1 violet
all on different dimmer? like that

 

prob 3 meanwell drivers, make sure to get the D drivers, not the P for the reefkeeper ( I beleive, check that before ordering to make sure), then run the whites on 1 , the blues and a few others on another, and then the main colors, red green uv on the third.

You can prob drop the number of issues and get by with a straight 36 led system from aquastyle and call it a day.

Although the 24 rapid system with supplemental aquastyle is better but way overkill

 

a meanwell driver will run 8 top of the line Crees I think
and prob 12-16 bridgelux easily if not a bit more
a led tech guy will come in here and tell you that math, I'm too tired to figure it our right now, sorry.

 

so your saying that the Aquarium 36 LEDs Dimmable DIY LED kit with optics good, but it i do that i don't have all the different colors i mean they have a 18 white 16 blue and 2 red one. i can get that then just build a small strip of led lights that have 2 violets 2 green/cyan and 2 ambers
and with the whites should i go all 10k or 50% 10k 50% 6500k or what?
