Hi all, I just realized/noticed that my cleaner shrimp is pregnant and has alot of eggs. Now...........my question to you is, can inverts conceive on their own? I only have one C. shrimp. How did she get pregnant? Anyone?????

i don't know much about it,but i think those eggs are no good for anything but food for the fish without a male to fertilize them.i know the babies need rotifers to eat.

They essentially need a greenwater tank (phyto available 24/7) for the first month(ish) - not sure about inverts, but they are similar to the other thank.

Set a greenwater up and see if you can capture the fry from the shrimp!
