ORA germen blue polyp monti digitata, I tried everything I could to get a good pic of this. The camera just didnt wanna focus on it. With the flash, it has almost purple polyps with an orangish flesh but its actually a grayish with blue polyps.

Ever since I removed my fish, I have had a macroalgae explosion, and you can see it in the pics.

Edit - you removed your fish? I tried that too.. didn't work for me - algae.
Went back to algae eaters.. seemed to help the corals too.. full circle ... all that....

hahahahahaha... I removed the fish for quarantine and the algae exploded and nitrates went up, no ammonia or nitrites.

Im a huge monti fan. Just as nice as anything else. I currently have 9 different kinds of monti's, haha. 4 types of digitata(working on a 5th) 4 types of caps(working on a 5th) and one undata.

nice corals, and pics. I wish my camera took as good of a pic as yours. All my pics seem to come out all blueish. anyways, good luck with your new corals and keep up the awesome work. Luna

I played with the white balance(ev) until I was able to get decent pics. Mine is set on ev -1.0. Thats still nowhere near where I wish it could be on that camera. It still doesnt pick up all the colors or do the corals justice.
