Well i decided to do alittle write up(my first one so might not be perfect) on the Leaffish(also known as The Leaf Scorpionfish, Paperfish) seeing as there was a lot of people interested in my post about the newest addition to my tank. So if i missed anything please let me know and feel free to ask questions

I have been talking to Incognito for a while about changing over to a "species-only" type tank...But since i like my Clowns and my Red Scooter Blenny i didn't want to do LionFish or any type of RockFish seeing as their mouths are like living vaccum's and would eat my smaller fish. So i decided to go the ScorpionFish and StingFish route. Their mouths are pretty small and couldn't easily swallow a lown(and hopefully not my Blenny)

And now we come to the main part... The LeafFish is a beautiful ScorpionFish that is Venomous. From the research ive done the sting from one of these feels alittle worse than a bee sting but lasts more than a few hours...Some cases have reportedly felt the pain a few days later. So be careful when hands are in tank or trying to feed.
Diet consists of Ghost shrimp, and Mysis. These fish are very hard to switch to frozen foods so be ready to feed Live Ghost Shrimp every few days.

    Maximum Size: 4" TL
Habitat: Inhabits reef flats, outer reef slopes, current-swept channels, and is occasionally found on lagoon reefs.
Diet:Very difficult to convert to frozen
Degree of Difficulty: Moderate due to diet requirements
Minimum Tank Size: 10 gallons for one or two specimens. 20 gallons for a trio.
    Special Considerations: Venomous.

These little fish are quite comical in their behavior. Being true to their name, they mimic dead leaves swaying in the current, but the fun doesn’t end there. Rather than swim, these cute little scorps move from place to place by crutching or hopping along the substrate. In fact, they soon recognize their keepers, and will come hopping over to beg for a handout. Their bodies are extremely laterally compressed, with a high, sail-shaped dorsal fin. They come in a variety of colors, yellow, brown, red, or mottled. The deep red specimens are striking, but unfortunately, almost always fade to a pinkish cream color in captivity. They do well in pairs and trios, and can make for a nice little display. About the only thing I can say that some consider negative is the fact that they can be difficult to wean onto dead food items, so be prepared to offer gut-loaded ghost shrimp for the life of the fish. That being said, these fish do seem to be easily trained to take food from a small net. How many fish have you seen hurry INTO a net?
Kingdom: Animalia Phylum: Chordata Class: Actinopterygii Order: Scorpaeniformes Family: Scorpaenidae Subfamily: Scorpaeninae Genus Taenianotus Species: T. triacanthus
(this paragraph was borrowed from INCOGNITOS website which has alot of amazing information and pictures on many types of "predator" type fish LionfishLair.com - Welcome to the Jungle... )" LionfishLair.com - Library " I want to say thank you to her for letting me reference her site in my post.
