FWIW, I kept a SFE for about 15 years, and it kinda "cured" me from keeping morays. Once it hit about 18"-20", it went postal and started eating/killing tankmates. It even bit me...TWICE!

Other lions, scorps, and waspfish make super tankmates. One of our setups has five lionfish in residence, along with a small scorp, and a waspfish.

I'm thinking A Male, and 2 female FDLF. That's 3 6" fish in 90 gallons. I don't want any kind of fighting. I want everything to be happy! This tank will most likely have a large amount of softies, LPS and SPS. Only crustaceans will be CUC. The scape I drew accounts for lots of open space for swimming, and caves etc. All tangs and angels are out, right?

If you want everything to be happy, avoid the angel and tang. Now I won't lie, there's a chance it could work because for everything out there we say can't be done.... someone is doing it successfully. You just need to be willing to accept the consequences and have a plan B for housing one or the other.

New tanks are so exciting! Can't wait to see your build!
