My friend bought me a LTA as a gift

It even caught some food when I fed the tank so I spot fed it a bit.

And here it is after a few hours in the tank.
It moved there last night and was still in the same spot this morning.

Not sure about the purple though, LA has some really purple LTAs from time to time.
Am fighting the GHA...just got a good skimmer &a am hoping my new lights come in next week....next is a reactor for bio pelets & an ro/di system (currently is just r/o w/a aor fine micron prefilter + a double dose of UV).

GHA isn't a big deal, when you start getting bryopsis and bad calurpa then you have a problem. I think thats a rocking nem dude! keep us updated with pics.

    Thanks.
yeah it's cool....only thing is that the water that it was in smelled like sewage and I know it was some sort of LFS (possibly home based though...knowing the friend who got it for me). Poor thing, I definitely don't want more stuff from there...justhope the nem makes it.

    Thanks.
I'm switching from cfl/T5 combo to and LED fixture so we'll see if it affects the GHA.
