    Hi Matt:

All that I'm sure about for now is the lighting. I'm moving my 2 Jebo 220s to it and adding 2 250 mh that I have left over from my old 130. That said, I might need more.

The plumbing and electrical feed for the lights is going to be run up from the basement through the center overflow. The lights will get their own 20 amp line with a GFI. I've got a local pro I'm working with to do the plumbing and build the sump/refuge. I'm kicking around going to a 100 gal capacity. We are going to locate it on an outside wall for extra cooling to try and avoid a chiller. He is trying to talk me into a big Blueline for the pump. The skimmer is to be determined. I'm going to run the RODI unit directly into the sump as a fresh water top off and use it to make water for changes. I'm thinking about building a shelf to hold the garbage cans over the sump with spigots that will dump directly into the sump. The sump with have a spigot that will dump into a drain in the floor. This should allow me to do all partial water changes without having to leave the basement or mess with any hoses. Assuming that the new water is already mixed I should be able to do a 60 gal change in 15 minutes or so. How cool would that be?

    I'll keep you posted.

I like the spigot over the drain idea. And easy water changes is key.

THe drain should also provide extra protection should the sump flood. Fellow 3reefer seawillow knows about that one from her basement sump setup and was psyched she had one there.

Look forward to seeing the progress! 8)
