The new Mandarin is in hiding

Thanks PL.....I really think the stress of the net at the lfs was the cause of it. She was panting even when I was acclimating her. On each gill there is a pokey sticking out part and both sides are what got hung up........:-/ I hate it that she died.

i would talk to the LFS and see what they will do for you, more than likely the should be willing to work something out.

 

I just got off the phone with the LFS they are going to replace it. He said yeah it might have been the problems with the net that caused it's death. He requested that I take them water sample today.......looks like I'm driving back to Augusta:-/

 

The truck didn't come in that was supposed to have more on it, so I've been eyeing these green chormis' for a while now and decided 5 would be a good number LOL got a real nice frilly shroom rock with I think 7 shrooms on it too. They tested my water and the pH was 7.9(from being in the dark in a bag I thinnk) and the KH was 7 too low....so I raised it a little with the esv part 1. gonna add a little more later after I check the kh

I wish y'all could have seen my other fish when I let them into the tank. My e/goby tried to eat them, the foxface looked like my dogs sniffing other dogs butts LOL and the damsel chased them for a few min. but couldn't decide on which to chase, so I guess he gave up AHAHA I love it!!!!! Yes, I put them into my tank. After seeing these fish and seeing their living conditions I'm satisfied they are fine. They are housed with other chormis', in their own tanks. They don't share water with anyoone and they were all perfect and they have been in there for a few months. I've watched them. I know all chromis' look alike but I asked and they are the same ones I've been looking at. I actually trust this lfs! ok 4 are schooling one, the little one is hiding. He'll come out later I bet. I'll post pics in a few min........

that sux cutting, but they are an awsome fish, I would deffinatly give them another shot.
