Matt, what do you mean when you say the controller looks sick? I don't understand unless its young peoples way of saying it looks great!

I really like mine, it does a good job without blowing sand all over the place . It made a big difference with my Streams.

Heh. Not where I was expecting this thread to go. :)
CIndy that sequential pump start sounds interesting, have you played with that?

Sorry Matt. I do agree, the new controller is brilliant :D I've had it on my to get list for well over a year now. I hate previews, they get you hyped up for months/years till the dang thing hits the shelves :D

Hi Matt! I have not tried the sequential mode. The book says it is recommended for long tanks. Mine is only 4 ft long.It says it requires a minimum of 2 pumps (which I have) but the system is sensible only with 3 pumps. It does mention a sequential "chance flow " option that I may try. They say you would only use it a few hours a week mostly for de-sedimentation of the LR or deeper zones.

Roger, the Tunze rep had reccomended the Interval 1. Only one pump runs at a time. Mine are probably running 5-10 minutes at a time and then it switches back to the other pump.

Its been working very well without blowing the sand around so much or blowing my clam over. I really like it and it was easy to set up.

Someone I had met on RC had located a store in his area-N.Y. and gave me their number and they happened to still have some. I don't have that number any longer or I would give it to you.

The distributors should be getting a bunch in by now but if you are not on their waiting list they may all be spoken for.
