All I have to say is LOL. I've been a long time Apple user, a few computers, all iphones, ipod, etc, and a about 5 years ago I predicted it would turn out like this, and it did.

Steve Jobs is a master @ stringing along the consumer and milking them for all their foolish money.

No doubt this glorified ebook will sell, and I won't be surprised if they actually defeat amazon and the kindle.

I disagree. I think it will sell like hotcakes because too many people have to have the "latest and greatest" regardless of whether it's useful to them or not.

I completely agree. It's just like phone companies. Each new phone model is the same as the previous one just looks differently but yet people still buy the new one because it's new.

So... for the Windows oriented crowd... I am looking for a "Netbook"... light weight, highly portable laptop.... want to running MS Office, e-mail, videos.... what would you recommend??

I must be getting "old" but the Mac wheel and such just isn't intuitive to me.

    Thanks
    M

    You're probably right...
To me personally it just seem like a big iPhone.

Exactly. People will buy whatever the next big thing is no matter how pointless the product. In 3 months it will be another obsolete tech item and something else with a higher price tag and more features will pop up.
