I'd like to know, which algae you all consider to be the most aggravating to get rid off?

like to have seen a "pic" of this bryopsis,
but i would consider hair algae a nuisence if i had to choose, seems to be every ones biggest enemy.

grape caulerpa grrrrrrrrr.it grows so fast and grows roots into rocks so when you try to pull it off it breaks and you have to pull it off in less than half inch peaces.

+2 on the hair algae situation. I've never had it on my LR, but i have enough to feed a small coral reef on my substrate. In fact, for the first time, I bought 2 sea hares today, so hopefully they take care of the problem. They are only 1/2 inch in length. Once they're done cleaning up, I will sell one back to the LFS, and keep the other for maintenance. BTW, in terms of nuissance level.... Hair algae on sand > Hair algae on LR.... the sand pulls up when you try and manually remove hair algae from the sand:(

Is there a difference between Bryopsis and Hair Algae or is it one of the same thing?

Ohhh, they look pretty similar in the pictures so how would you tell them apart?
