My picture is pretty lousy because it was taken many many years ago with a crummy camera but if you look closely at most species of bryopsis, the "fronds" have a feather or fern like structure.

Ahhh ok, so if it has a feathery appearance then it's bryopsis. I had some hair algae (I think) a short while ago and spread on one of my rocks like wild fire. I took the rock out and gave it a serious scrub and so far (touch wood), it doesn't seem to be coming back. However, there is some growing on my overflow comb, but that can easily be removed. I may look at it a bit closer as I will start having nightmares after reading about your battle with bryopsis! Thanks for the pointers :)

If you go on Google images and type in "bryopsis", you'll get a ton of pictures that are far better than mine :)

Coraline on front glass...my biggest problem dealing with. --- do have some hair algae in Nano...seems to pretty much stay on one zoa rock...I try to pick it clean everytime I do a weekly water change.

    Never seems to go away....:-/

    No sea hare yet.

Probably not enough algae to keep it alive for long.

Suppose I will just live to learn to live with what there is until it shows sign of spreading to rest of tank.

I am pretty much staying in front of it for now. :-/

bryopsis by far. I have this in my BB tank still growing with no nutrients. The only way i've found you can get rid of it for good is a nice, big, blowtorch
