Not sure if you're asking the public or Warner, but I'll answer. I really like the NextReef reactors...very solid, well built, and if you go with the SMR1, it is tinted acrylic to avoid algae growth. Large tubing (1/2" on MR1, 5/8" on SMR1) for easy flow. Many of 3reef sponsors sell them as well. Big leap compared to the BRS and Phosban reactors.

I'll take all the advise I can get. Thank you for the recommendation. Obviously John's advice is much appreciated as well!

Jon, I have a question as well. I am currently dosing Brightwell's Bio-Fuel, and I believe I have reached its limit. I have some EcoBak ready to go, but wanted to know if continued dosing would slow the process. I know it will take weeks to see the benefit of the pellets, and I don't want to stop dosing for that long, as I fear some of my SPS might not like it a bit more "dirty" in there.

    Thanks!

For the SMR-1 reactor, what is the suggested ml of ecoBak to use? Is this determined by the size of my system?

It sounds like the bacteria builds slowly so i would think you would be okay adding your intended amount right away. However, i don't have any expereience with one of these.......yet.
