And i still wouldnt consider it a heavy or fast tumble. I'm wondering what will happen when the rest of the new pellets start to really colonize bacteria. Will I see an even more intense drop?

No I dont think so... once your numbers are that low they can only go down a little, hahaha. You can't go below "undetectable".

    Hello and thank you,

For 350 gallons you'll run around 2 liters. Run a nice gentle tumble and keep an eye on your skimming and watch the PO4 drop. I'd guess that 80-90% of ecoBAK users no longer use GFO. Start out with about .5 liter and add another .5 liter every week until you reach 2 liters. 4-6 weeks later and PO4 should be extremely low.

Bacteria is one source of food for many copepods... I would think it was be safe to assume they'd eat the bacterial floc that is "sluffed" off the bio-pellets, but I of course can be wrong :D

whats the recommendations for the ecobak in a mixed reef aquarium....

historically with low nutrient my lps do nothing and have trouble maintaining...

i know 2 liters is the proper amount for a 350 size tank...but if its a mixed reef with 50%+ LPS whats the thoughts/recommendations??

    Hi Larry,

The primary benefit of ecoBAK is the ability to feed an aquarium while maintaining low NO3 and PO4 levels. So we recommend FEEDING an ecoBAK powered system. Any time you starve an aquarium LPS don't do well (nor do SPS for that matter). I'd run around 1.75L-2L
