    +1 and K+

I'm curious to know though, what kind of proceedures does your store use to stabalize your new livestock? Do you QT for a while and treat before introducing them into display tanks? Or is it acclimation and directly adding to the Displays? I'm only curious as the LFS stores around here sometimes get some really ratty looking fish in their tanks on delivery day.

BTW, I'm stoked you get the discount and get to do what ya love!

    You guys are so right!
To have a knowledgeable and trusted local pet shop employee to help you with questions or concerns and steer you in the right direction, is priceless!
I will not sell any livestock to someone, WILLINGLY, if it does not make a perfect fit. I try to get info from them as to lighting, tank size, bioload number and types of fish to help customers make the right choice for their success and enjoyment as well as the healthy of the living animal. Of course this is not able to be accomplished with each customer that walks in the store as for me to accomplish this feat would take more employees to help me out. However, if someone comes up to me with questions or wishes to purchase something, that is when I ensure that they are going about it the right way and selecting a suitable choice for their system.
It is so beneficial to establish a good repore with pet shop employees, that, hopefully are knowledgeable and truthful when it comes to selling any of their livestock.
