I've heard about them....they aren't water bagels. They are cooked with fire.

I had a Canadian live with US for about 6 months a couple years back. She made me poutine. Good heavens that was good. Pommes Frites (Belgian Fries) are a little better IMO but either are absolutely amazing.

EDIT: Let me clarify....she was Rachel's friend and was anorexic and going to die without help. She didn't "live with me" in the way that most would assume. I wasn't cheating on my wife when I was in DC or Seattle.

I'm not the greatest bagel fan in the world but I've begged and pleaded for these they are very very good. We have an office in Montreal and if I'm really good I get a care package every once in a while LOL

Thats exactly what poutine is!!! And its great.... most americans wont even look at it let alone taste it. (I have family in the U.S). But up here you can get all kinds of poutine, name pretty much any meat or vegetable and they stick it in there... right now my favorite is chicken poutine.

As for the bagel's J never heard of them  probably since im not a bagel kind of guy but i guess i'll have to check that out.

Allot of great things up here!!! ;D
