    Thats the Net 2.0 for ya.. Sad to see it go, but think of all the trees we can save.. Im not some hippy environmentalist or anything, but I would like to see a change away from such a wasteful resource..

    Why? I'd never buy a computer that isn't a laptop. Never have for that matter.

    My fiance works for the biggest paper in Milwaukee. Even she knows it is on it's way out.

    Desk tops are a lot cheaper and more powerful. Plus I don't see how a lap top could be practical with the monitor size I enjoy on my desktop (22").


    I don't know about you but I find the paper to be quite handy. It takes a lot longer to look up each comic individually on comics.com, then go to espn.com, dearabby.com, cnn.com, etc. I could be done with everything by the time I got to Fred Basset on the internet.

    stepho, the idea is good, but readership keeps going down, and therefore the cost per paper goes up. Eventually nobody will read them.
