From the email. I asked him about the "bacteria and mildew resistant" and I will let you know as more details come.

What's so bad about the metal razor scraper? Mine works very well. I just got an interchangeable "Husky" scraper that has an all plastic body and only the blade is metal. After I'm done using it, I take the blade out, rinse it with tap water and dry the blade with a rag and it's good to go for the next time. Give that one a try. It's 4 inches wide, so you get the scraping done rather quickly I would say! :)

Here is the follow up to my questioning of the bacteria resistance.

Doesn't exactly put me at ease.

Ok talked to the guy again to today to elaborate. He said the surface of the skrapr was so smooth bacteria could be rinsed off.

LOL !!! That doesn't sound like a very informed advice from that dude. So smooth that bacteria can't get a hold on?? JohnJohn... you'll be the final judge, I guess.

I wish they had also a microscopical broom too sweep the bacteria off my keyboard!! I'm convinced all the house goes to sleep there at night.

I wish they made keyboards that smooth.

In all seriousness, I think they need another call, this time to a more informed individual - from the engineering team.
