    The good thing is if you get it now, you go ahead and get it over with! Then you're immune and you don't need the vaccine (unless it makes you feel better about it). I'm counting down the days until the vaccine! Haha :)

    i was sick a few days ago with a fever, lol i hope it wasn't the swine flu, it took 2 1/2 days for me to recover, hope you feel better

    It's effecting my local college. My immune systems pretty tough because of the tourist trap jobs I've had. Maybe I won't get it. Several of my friends have had it, not a huge deal like it used to be. All I know is that if I do get it, I'm supposed to email my professors and then I'm excused from all work until I'm better :)

    Hopefully I won't get it though. I'd rather not. It just sucks because there are 2 types of flu we could potentially get; swine and the normal yearly strain. Bleah. I still think swine flu is causing more panic than it is infections.

    Yeah, it's goin around, got it at some local universities here in Southwest Florida. I've seen a bunch of posts around these parts where folks are comin' down with the H1N1, hopefully not ending up looking like the "pig-woman" in the previous posts (hahaha!!)

    Well today is better. My stomach has settled at least. But I'm still constantly popping acetaminophen to fight off fevers.

    My friend has swine flu and I was around her while she was sick, but we thought it was just a cold! Uh-oh...nothing to do now but wait it out and see what happens! How you feeling PackLeader?

    My buddy got it and it put him in a coma for three weeks. He's better now just a S load of recovery.

    I've either got the swine or the boring regular one. I was told to let the fever take it's course - I have been and I'm feeling better. Nyquill helped sleeping but I still woke up more than I slept. Theory on the fever is that the body's been doing what it does best for a few thousand years now, why hinder it. I did feel really feverish but I think it worked. Heat + time = (hopefully) denatured flu. Hope you get to feelin better soon.
