IMO, the swine flu or the normal flu will do about the same to ya. We just have a better chance of catching a "flu", whether it be pork related or not. Not fun.

Sorry to hear, Pack. Somehow I missed the thread. When you get the flu, it really makes you cherish those times you don't. People toss around the word "flu" to cover all sorts of ailments, and sometimes are really talking about a bad cold. When you have a flu--you know it. You feel like you've been hit by a truck, and it's misery to simply sit upright.

    Feel better, man.

+1. Thursday I had a bucket next to the toilet to give ya an idea. I'll let you figure that one out.
I am still doing better. About the only thing left is I am still battling fevers. But I have been on "regular" foods since yesterday morning and it's all staying down. Planning on being back to work Monday.

Don't go back to work until your fever is gone for at least 24 hours!

Wait...oh god...I hope the bucket next to the toilet isn't what I think it is. Bucket for the attic, toilet for the basement? I dunno...fill me in :D

One good thing about sickness is now my English teacher is down, so class is cancelled tomorrow. Woohoo that gives me an extra hour to do homework in between my other two classes.

LMAO. Wow. What an analogy. But yes, you pretty much hit it on the head.

That absolutely SUCKS!!! I sure hope you are keeping your fluids up...and now I really hope I avoid swine flu. Good luck in recovering from that

One question, did you ever need the toilet and the bucket simultaneously? Or did you just have need for them individually, just very often so you decided to multitask and keep your virus battling tools close together?

Oh Yes. Continuously for about 6 hours on Thursday. Discovered through trial and error that the bucket is much easier to clean rather than the bathtub which is next to the toilet.

i also believe one of the nastys with bad cases of h1n1 , is that can settle deep in the lungs. our government has ordered a whole whack of the deep lung breathing machines (sorry brain cramp , couldnt remember proper terminology). also i believe , the younger people , 25 and down, are more susceptible to the worst effects of this. this might the 1 time im glad im older , i mean more mature. :)
