    I'm not to sure about this one, I have never heard of phosphates having any sort of impact on inverts. Not to say they dont, just I dont think I have read it before. There is usually other things involved when you have elevated phostphates that can contribute to issues but they themselves I dont think effect inverts.

    I know that I do have detectable phosphates and my emerald crab is still molting.

    do emeralds bother snails?

    if they are hungry enough I would think...most crabs delight on snails when deprived regular feeding..ime:)

    I haven't noticed mine chowing down on snails like my hermits do, but I can't watch my tank 24/7 though.
