    I believe Chemi-Pure is advertised as having a 6 month lifespan. I would guess this could be longer or shorter depending on tank size and bioload.

    But what about the copeods? When I change out the carbon will be dumping them too? Will it interfere with Dt's phytoplankton?

    I put my carbon in a PM reverse flow substrate reactor and it does great. 24/7 just like Tangster said.
