I like to keep the fish kinda small so I threw in a green chromis and a blue damsel....My St Thomas Bubble mushroom has a very large section of him that I assume has been ate up by one of the new fish....Which would be the most likely suspect? I think it would be the Chromis...he is a skittish lil guy and I saw him nip at my Leather once so whatcha think....Who goes up for adoption?

Hmm... Not sure about that one! I have 10 green chromis in my tank and they never pick at any of my coral including my shrooms. The only thing I can think of is that chromis do better in schools of 5 or more so it may be acting a little f'ed up all by itself.

Green chromis are planktivores.... They won't even pick pods or other benthic inverts of substrate or rock, I would rule them out. Are you sure its not spreading or splitting?

we have 2 chromis--long story-- but they have never ever touched any of our corals. they always eat out of the water column. good luck.

It is a fact they do better in school's but my Maroon Clown's took to him pretty quickly and he sleep's with them at night...the day time is a different story though.....He is on his own then.....
