Very nice Bruce! Ahh, you're acclimating. I had my reef with crappy worn out PC's for a few days until I purchased my pendant. Sold my previous setup and used that one until the upgrade. I didn't really acclimate as I wanted them under good lighting ASAP. Well, as a result, my green tulip polyps and green stars did not come out for like 3 days. Ack!

Looks good, I too, dremeled two holes in my ceiling! :-X

Yup...the tank is bright and thats only with 2 bulbs! one thing i might change. is replace the 6500k day light with another 11000k 60/40 actinic day. Do you know if the 6500k daylight gives spectrum that a coral needs that the 11000k doesnt? if thats the case i probably wont change.

The 6500K will have more PAR but you don't have to run them as you will have more than enought light for your tank.
Which 6500K did you get the giesmann or the GE?

It is good to see you taking it slow. I killed my hydrophona when I upgraded and bleached the crap out of my pectina. Take it slow.
