Id like to try. To me, its ricks subconscious dealing with the loss of Lori. Its the tipping point. It was his mind telling himself look, the only safe place is here with us... dead. Its also a look into Rick as a person and how well hes handling the situation. Should be interesting next episode now that the 2 crews are bout to meet up. good episode.

I'm thinking very similar,but will hold off till tomorrow so Cheryls head don't pop off,

 

Even though I have not seen the episode I do not believe it's a manifestation of Rick sorrow.

That just does not fit with the rest of the show. Granted Zombies are not real but the show remains pretty true to real life as far as super natural goes.

Oh yeah I am going to bed, so enjoy the speculation.

 

I thought it was going to be Carol on the phone. What was the speculation by others on who was on the phone prior to the episode? I think it was Lori relaying to Rick what he needs to do.....
