Those look like Aqua SD frags. I have a hard time looking through their pictures and not buying. Great selection! I keep seeing this say "wife's tank" but it seems to always sound like your tank. ;)

Well she did buy the tank I just do everything else for it. Keeps her happy and I get to stock it up.

I do actual have my own Red Sea 130D which is LPS and softy. Real basic stuff that is totally invasive ha ha.
Blue start polyps, GSP, Xenia, 3 kinds leathers, a couple torches, stunner chalice, favia, a few zoa. a couple Ricordia etc.. So far letting things fight it out
Have my picasso clowns also(which is the main reason I have this tank). Very low maintenance with a heater, tunze 3155 which I just added, eshopps HOB skimmer. Jebao wp10, cheato and fuge light.

Ya Aqua SD had a good sale last night could not pass it up. Most were 25 bucks for a frag. Lowest was $10 highest was $30.

I just sold my 135 Acrylic setup so had money burning a hole in my pocket. Pretty much spent it all on wife tank and my dog had some vet bills.

Those looks like some very nice corals.

Would like to see an image for your low maintenance LPS tank and those Picassos. Had I not gotten Pink Skunks it would have been Picassos hands down. Looks like someone need to update their own thread.

I will have to see if my old thread still exists.. may have deleted. Here are the little guys, they have the other tank to themselves. Will need to get some updated pics with them in current tank.

Nice looking pair you have there. I think I will probably go with some type of designer clowns in the future but not with the clowns I already have.

    Question for kalk users.

So checked my apex logs and looks like ato kicked in last night. PH jumped .04

I watched Mr Saltwater video and he mentioned try to keep it .02 jump or lower.

How big of a deal do you think the .04 is?

Will test calcium, alk, and other stuff later today and will probably go without dosing any calcium and alk today(unless really needed).. Or would this cause an issue?

Consistency over numbers IMO. You can shoot for target value but get there slowly. I have learned and relearned this lesson time and time again.

I was at 7 dkh, corals were doing fantastic, growing like weeds, I decided to try to go to 8 over the course of 5 days, still too fast for my corals and my volume of water.

Ya slow and steady is how I have been taking it. Not so much chasing #'s anymore but settling in.

    Current PH 8.18
    Calcium 440
    ALK 10.864

I will be doing my daily testing for next couple weeks and see where things go. Will be skipping any other dosing tonight.

Thanks. They are going to hold them until at least Thursday or Friday. With the weather so crappy and cold across the country(transportation hubs) I can wait.
They should brighten up the tank
