ok so got the light up..

measure, remeasured, and remeasured. Then used laser level propped on tank(shooting at ceiling..should have taken a picture) to get my centerline for the tank. Measured some more and stuck a couple small nails in the ceiling and then hung light twine from them to see if I was on target. Wife got home and suggested I put a couple weights on the end to see if I was a close as I thought(huh I was off 1/2 inch to the right) dammit. Well adjusted that(glad I had not drilled pilot holes yet) and then ran to lowes for some hooks(ones I picked up last night I decided I did not like), had picked up wire and crimp sleeve last night along with light blue carabiners instead of using what came with light.

    So a couple pics

    nails with twine

Added the weights on end twine (should have thought of it) +1 for the wife

Hanging pics (ignore the A350W in the back.. I know not the best pics but you get the idea.. will take more when cleaned up)

Still have to program the hour progression but damn that thing is bright and dialed it way back. Currently sitting 11 inches above tank.

So attached is the chart I created to set my custom times so light increase and decrease intensity throughout the day.

There will be tweaking as corals and fish acclimation to the new light but it is first shot. Ch1 is blue and ch2 is white. List not totally complete as I do have a couple earlier and later setting of just blue moon to start morning and end night but you get the idea.

jebao wp10 installed yesterday but have not really had time to fool around with it. Still out for debate but think I need a second 1. Wife has been saying she wants the mp10.

Wife keeps saying she wants the mp10 instead of the jebao wp10 so pulled the trigger and ordered the mp10wes. Also ended up ordering the innovative custom filter caddy and fuge light so I can put some cheato in there and use other media beside the filter media pads. I have another 30gal that will be my QT tank so can put the jebao in there.

Will be interesting to really get a good comparison on the Jebao wp10 vs the EcoTech mp10.

Should have the stuff in a couple days
