Reduced lighting back to 1hr peak of 50%. Going back over old pics my colors were so much better when running the whites at lower %.
You can see from these frags off my corals how they are kind of dull.. There are some Acros like pink mili which seems to love the increased light "opinion based on observation". Growth rate is steady some growing much better than others.
I think my the leptastrea disliked the increase the most.. that is a frustratingly slow grower for me and this has set it back once again

Also am I crazy to be thinking about adding a cpr overflow and sump/refugium for this setup?
    What would you guys do?
Would there be enough benefit to justify this?

This tank is a IM 38 AIO which currently utilizes 1 compartment for chaeto but struggling to keep it alive these last few times. I do not know if it is do to low nutrients or what. I was thinking sump/refugium may be way to go. Build up some nutrients and give me place to move some of the crap hanging in the back compartment to out of site place.

Or would you guys just leave things alone...which I can't seem to do.

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
I had the large CPR refugium on my tank (JBJ 28) with the PC unit designed for the HOB unit.

Yes it adds extra volume, but I was not overly impressed. I put the Tunze 9002 Doc in it, run Chempure Elite and Purigen with rubble and Chaeto. Did not see a significant improvement or benefit. I would not purchase another one. Tons of other more important equipment, test kits and corals to buy.

Thank for the input Corailline. I can always use feedback.
I need an intervention.. I have huge bills coming up next month yet I am thinking of buying 4 frags from BC..

two that I really want are

Cali Tort ............ this I may be able to get a frag off someone 1.5hrs away just waiting to see what he has available and size.
    Blue Humilis
Glowstick and couple others I am debating

What is the 1 in your avatar

Cleaned my return pump holy crap it is putting out triple what it was..ooopsi long overdue.
For some reason my Duncans and Blasto have not been fully extending. Seemed to have happened after the interceptor (maybe I overdosed a lttle). Have had a little bit white/mucus slime (on glass) which I read could be bacteria. The bit of research I have done said check ammonia etc etc.
Have done 5gl wc thursday and friday. Acros look great so will keep up with cleaning and WC. No algae so have not moved cleaning crew back since interceptor. Going to need to add some pods also.

    Did full battery of tests
    SG 1.026
    Ammonia 0
    NO2 0
    NO3 0
    PH 8.07 currently
    MG 1300
    Cal 430 (changed because DSC can't believe I run 1430 :)
    ALK 9.6

Also reduced lights to peak at 45%

Ooooo nice clean corals, feels good right?

I have never heard of an LPS issue after treatment with Interceptor.

    Ever add any Lugols?
