No kidding.... LOL. They'll be here Tuesday, along with some Monti frags and a hammer.

Will get pics up as soon as they're swimming.

Thanks for all the nice words everyone! Small update and a question or two in advance of new adds on Tuesday....

Tested some params today(Red Sea Pro kits):

    Nitrate: 2
    Mg: 1400
    Alk: 8.4
    Cal: 400
    Temp: 78.5
    pH: 7.9
    SG: 1.025

Our duncan seems a bit less than happy and has not opened fully for about a week. It alternates between semi-open and closed throughout the day. Location was about 3" from the sandbed. Coloration is still good. Nothing has been physically irritating it. This morning we moved it to a more shaded area on the sand to see if the light was too intense for it. Radions are set to peak around 85%. Other thoughts?

The skimmer isn't pulling anything - can't seem to maintain a foam head. Water levels are spot on according to the lines on the body and it's bubbling away... My thought is that this may be because of the light bioload (3 small fish and a few small corals) relative to the 130g water volume. Running carbon as well at the moment, but haven't cranked up the GFO or anything yet... There's a little bit of a diatom bloom in the fuge, but nothing spectacular.

    Thoughts anyone?

I'm super excited to see them! We've never had fish shipped... should I be doing anything else besides a 2-3 hour acclimation? Love the spoiler! ;D

I'd try to keep acclimation to around an hour - I've tried it 20 minutes, an hour, two, three, four hours. After floating the bags for about 20-25 minutes, I think it takes me about 30-45 after that to acclimate the fish to the new tank water.

But having said that, do what you're most comfortable with :)

I ship all the fish with ammonia neutralizer, so there shouldn't be any issues.

And please post pics, good or bad. If I screw up I want to take responsibility for it, and don't mind if the world knows. Then again, I'm happy to take the praise too ;)

Your fishies will be there by 10:30 am via UPS!

I think you are right about the bio load and your skimmer - or at least I hope you are :) I am experiencing the same thing with my skimmers now that I am in the new tank. I think all of the additional volume and no real change in bio-load is just making for cleaner water at the moment. I expect to see skimmer output increase over time...I am running the exact same skimmers I was in my other tank, and the water level in the sump is consistent with what I had before...so I don't think it is a mechanical issue.
