Yippee!!!

 

Cool man! I'm much more comfortable with an hour. I'm an instant gratification kind of gal. I'll be up bright and early waiting by the door to catch the UPS guy. Sometimes he tries to put my packages by the garage instead of walking up to the door. Not cool when it says "Live Animals" on the package!

So super excited. I'll certainly post pics to 3reef as soon as my hubby gets home (for some reason I can't figure it out), and I'll post a pic on FB for ya too.

 

Any updates on this bad boy??

 

Yessir, will get that done in the next day or so. Been underwater with work/school/holidays for the past few weeks. Hope everyone had a great holiday! Pics coming soon!

 

Okay, here we go....

We got the Flame Wrasse pair in on 12/4. Unfortunately the female was DOA. The male is fine and is getting along nicely with his tank mates - what a beautiful fish. They were packed expertly and delivered promptly so I guess it was just one of those things. Total bummer. Brett (nicewrasse.com) has been great to work with. He is quarantining a new female for us now and we should have her mid-January. Will definitely order from him again in the future.

Female Flame Wrasse

2x B/W Occ clown w/ RBTA

That will round out our fish population.

We also ordered a few corals with the fishies.

We got a beautiful metallic green hammer and promptly killed it. We placed it on the sand and it looked great. Was opening up nicely and the color was amazing. When we looked at it the next morning it was not doing well. I think we put it in a place where the flow was too high, so it got blasted and essentially disintegrated. Totally my fault.

We've also been building up a zoa garden....






I'm not sure what their trade names are, will get some better pictures one of these days and try and figure it out. They are really happy and growing.
