Great progress!!!! The same 90 gallon, bean animal, two MP40s, LED, yet you're gonna kill my build in every way.

Thanks Shin, your thread was one of my primary resources in the planning of this build.

Loooooong way to go before we get anywhere close to what you've got going on.... Having an unfinished basement comes in pretty handy sometimes. :)

Here is the plumbing between the storage tanks. The top branch reduces to a 1/4" john guest fitting and runs to the ATO (BRS top off doser). The grey barbed fitting is going to be attached to a piece of vinyl tubing so we can fill up a bucket w/ RO/DI water when we need it. The bottom fitting is a 90 connected to flex PVC that goes into the bottom container for mixing salt water. It's friction fit into a 1" hole that I drilled in there.

Current challenge is to figure out a way to get cords for the heater and power head out of the saltwater container that will still allow the lid to be attached. May take a fact finding mission to HD to look for a bushing or something.... Thoughts anyone?

Well, I was able to get most of the plumbing done in the basement tonight!

Still need to plumb the fuge output (those two bulkheads you see there) back to the sump, install the RKE and a bunch of little odds and ends.

Going to the Great American Beer Festival tomorrow  so probably won't get much done, but I'm hoping to get to work tiling the stand on Sunday and have a freshwater test underway by mid-week!

    A few more random pics....

This is the tile that's going to go on top of the stand...

Hole in the floor (otherwise known as the point of no return).

The pipes make about a 6' horizontal traverse before going up through the floor.
